Nematicides
Fertilizers and Pesticides has always been at the forefront in fertiliser industry. We have a wide clientele in India and abroad. We are a brand name in manufacturing quality nematicides, fertilizers and bio-pesticides.
Our ultra modern infrastructure is equipped with sophisticated equipment which enable us to produce quality products. Our R&D wing is always in search of new innovations to maximize the quality of our products. Products go thourgh different stages of quality check before coming into the market. From selection of raw materials to packaging, we pay utmost attention.
Actually, nematicide is a type of pesticide used to help control nematodes (roundworms). These compounds are usually quite toxic to humans, so must be used with extreme care. Neem cake is generally used to obtain nematicide.
Nematodes are little worms which attack crop plants, are too small to recognize without a microscope, exist in enormous numbers in farm fields. They damage roots and are a primary cause of reduced plant growth and crop yields. But, nematodes can be controlled by application of nematicides. Control results in increased crop yields.
Chemical Based
We are a leading manufacturer and exporter of chemical based Nematicides. Our chemical based nematicide are manufactured under the strict supervision of our experts. Few chemical based nematicides manufactured by us are given herein:
Carbofuran
Carbofuran (Molecular formula C12H15NO3) is known as the most toxic of the carbamate pesticides which is used to control insects in a wide variety of field crops, including potatoes, corn and soybeans. In fact, it is a systemic insecticide, which means that the plant absorbs it through the roots, and from here the plant distributes it throughout its organs (mainly vessels, stems and leaves; not the fruits), where insecticidal concentrations are attained. Carbofuran also has contact activity against pests.
The use of carbofuran has increased in recent years because it is one of the few insecticides effective on soybean aphids. Carbofuran has the highest acute toxicity to humans of any insecticide widely used on field crops. In fact, carbofuran is also known to be highly toxic to birds. In its granular form, even a single grain will kill a bird. Actually, birds often eat numerous grains of the pesticide, mistaking them for seeds, and then die shortly thereafter. Thus, the liquid version of the pesticide is less hazardous to birds since they are not as likely to ingest it directly, but it is still very hazardous.
Benomyl
Benomyl (Molecular formula C14H18N4O3) also known as Benlate is a systemic, benzimidazole fungicide that is selectively toxic to microorganisms and to invertebrates, especially earthworms. It is used against a wide range of fungal diseases of field crops, fruits, nuts, ornamentals, mushrooms, and turf. Benomyl binds to microtubules, interfering with cell functions such as meiosis and intracellular transportation. It is also used in molecular biology to study the cell cycle in yeast
The selective toxicity of benomyl as a fungicide is possibly due to its heightened effect on fungal rather than mammalian microtubules. Formulations include wettable powder, dry flowable powder, and dispersible granules.
Carbosulfan
Carbosulfan (Molecular formula C20H32N2O3S) is a broad-spectrum carbamate pesticide closely related to its main metabolite carbofuran, used to control insects, mites and nematodes by soil, foliar and seed treatment applications, mainly on potatoes, sugar beet, rice, maize and citrus. Carbofuran is the main metabolite of carbosulfan in plants and is itself a pesticide.
It may also be applied to soil or foliage and is said to be effective through direct contact or stomach ingestion. Foliar pests may be controlled by soil applications via systemic action. It is also registered for seed treatment and may be applied from the ground or air. Treatment may be in furrow, by band, broadcast, side dress, pre-plant, injection or pre-emergence.
Carbosulfan is highly toxic when administered orally. Carbosulfan is minimally irritating to the eye, slightly irritating to the skin and is a dermal sensitizer.
Phorate
Phorate (Molecular formula C7H17O2PS) is an organophosphorus insecticide and acaricide used to control sucking and chewing insects, leafhoppers, leafminers, mites, some nematodes, and rootworms. In fact, it is used in pine forests and on root and field crops, including corn, cotton, coffee, some ornamental and herbaceous plants, and bulbs.
Phorate released to the soil is rapidly oxidized to the sulphoxide and sulphone forms and their phosphorothioate analogues, which are then hydrolysed. Phorate sulphoxide and sulphone are generally more persistent than the parent compound. Phorate has some potential to leach through the soil to groundwater. Phorate is extremely toxic, and phorate products are labeled with a DANGER signal word.
Chlorpyrifos
Chlorpyrifos (Molecular formula C9H11Cl13NO3PS) is an insecticide that is a white crystal-like solid with a strong odor. It does not mix well with water, so it is usually mixed with oily liquids before it is applied to crops or animals. It may also be applied to crops in a capsule form.
Chlorpyrifos is a broad-spectrum organophosphate insecticide which is widely used in homes and on farms. In the home, it is used to control cockroaches, fleas, and termites; it is also used in some pet flea and tick collars. On the farm, it is used to control ticks on cattle and as a spray to control crop pests. Chlorpyrifos is one of the most commonly used pesticides all over the world.
Triazophos
Triazophos (Molecular formula C12H16N3O3PS) is an organophosphorus insecticide and acaricide with high effect and broad spectrum. It has strong contact poisoning and great permeability to plant tissues. Substitution for high-toxicity pesticides brings opportunities to triazophos. It is slight brown liquid. A broad spectrum insecticide and acaricide with some nematicidal properties. It controls aphididae in cereals at 320-600 g AI (20% EC)/ha, in fruit at 75-125 g/100l. When incorporated at 1-2 kg AI (20% EC)/ha in the soil prior to planting, it controls Agrotis spp. and other cutworms. It can penetrate plant tissue, but has no systemic activity.
